start by taking off coolant lines and intake pipe, and upper heat sheild. also disconnect the o2 sensor wire, its around the water line head area that you are working at in this step, just follow the wire from the sensor till you reach a clip, then undo it, easier than taking out the sensor while on the turbo.
then take out the stock hard oil feed line(on the oil filter housing) and replace with SS braided line while youre down there. you can also tap the line at the head, but here was easier.
then disconnect the oil return line from the oil pan
then disconnect the downpipe from the turbo
then remove monifold/head bolts and manifold/turbo bolts. i had to take of the manny cause the turbo would not just drop down due to stupid mitsu design and a engine mount in the way.
pull that summa bitch out.
now we can compare.

another shot. its a wee bit bigger than the stock, i hope to not have any clearence issues with the alt, we shall see.....
wow, look at that pathetic excuse for a turbo. now youre going to take off the heat sheild, o2 sensor, and water line connecting fittings.
this is the evo16g with everything bolted on, o2 housing, j-pipe, water lines, oil return line and feed line fittings.
i have the manifold on also, though it might not all go in at once, well see.
