Hi folks and welcome to my site!
I live in Sweden and own a Mazda 323 GT-R, the car Mazda built for homologation to the WRC in 1992. Only about 2500 cars were made.
Stock GT-R have 185 bhp/240 nm.
My GT-R has an all out custom made competition engine wich is now under rebuilding by me and a swedish company called LG Speed. Forged internals off course, H-beam connecting rods, JE pistons with lower compression and forged crankshaft, the engine block is reinforced with Moroso engine filler, in an attempt to make the cylinder walls much stronger. Some serius head work has been done, another head was demolished so we could find out how much porting we could do. Valve lifters are now solid and competition cams and adjustable cam gears are installed. Intake manifold is custom, exhaust manifold are also custom so my new turbo and WG would fit, a Precision PT67GTQ and a Tial WG. Everything is controlled by a NIRA i3 stand alone computer.
A new dogbox is purchased and will be fitted to the car asap, some custom work have to be done to fit the new propshaft and rear diff. All will be mounted stiff, without any rubber or else shit!
First time with full throttle :-) But only 1.2 bar :-(
Engine room is under construction, this is before the custom manifolds and new turbo.
My new gearset, custom made with dogs insted of syncros.
The new clutch, AP racing twin plate, expensive as hell...
Some of the new bits has arrived, Turbo, Pistons and Rods.
This page will soon be updated with pics and more info about my car!
