This is my 1982 Chevy Camaro Z28.My Dad bought this car when I was around 4or 5 years old (87-88) and told me one day I could have it.When I was 15 the work started on the car.It wasnt in great shape after years of being used as a family car, leaking T-Tops and baking in the sun.1st we took care of the rust. The floors had some holes and the T-Top bar in the center was rusted out and also bent up from a break in.We got the car safe to drive and running well with a 84 Chevy Carb 305 and a 350 turbo Trans. She didnt look to bad either but a overhaul was needed. When I was around 18 I got some money together and replaced the nose and ground effect and had the car painted.A bit after that we swaped out the motor with a rebuilt 350 and trans. After a few years and I got a good paying job (21-23yrs old) we turned the car into what you see today. She is not perfect but It allways gets lots of looks at shows and people saying how nice it is. I have a bunch of things planed for the car and when money and time allows I will get them done.

Thanks for checking out my 1982 Camaro Z28

When I got the Mustang it took over my Camaros garage at my parents. My car sat out side under a cover for 1 year.I spent more time cleaning it then driving so I stored it at my uncles untill I bought my own house. The pic below is its 1st day in its new home.

This is a pic that I found of the car when I was around 14-15yrs old.The rear ground effect was painted black and you cant see but the front one was gone.Paint still had some shine to it.This is how I got the car and drove it untill I was about 18yrs old.

This is a pic of the car when I was 18yrs old.I saved some money and got the front ground effect and new front nose bumper.Had the car painted and added the lower gold stripes.

Summer 2012 I plan to have the lower stripes repainted and also repair the flaws in the paint ,wet sand and buff.

Clean and paint motor bay.

A newly rebuilt 350 trans will be put in as well.

Thanks man. As for plans, I'm not 100% settled on any one idea, but it will remain street legal for the most part.

I have a decent 4 bolt 350 block sitting around that I tore down, so if anything I'd like to build a boosted 383. Probably a CSU blow through carb, single or twin turbo. Whatever I do with it in the future, it'll have to be good.

If you look at my Mustang's page, my 2001 GT has a T56 6 speed swapped in it, Centerforce DFX, 03-04 Cobra aluminum driveshaft, 3.73 gears out back, BBK CAI, BBK offroad X, Borla Stinger catback, Steeda Tri Ax shifter, Vortech V1 supercharger that I picked up in May, waiting to be installed. In the next few months I'd like to pick up Stainless Works long tubes, Spec twin disc clutch, a CX Racing intercooler for the Vortech install, and that's my daily driver. Gonna have to one up that with the "fast" car. Rated you 5 stars BTW.
