-- My winter car, 1989 626 LX Automatic, Being converted to an Intercooled turbo charged 2.2l with N/A tuned pistons and twice shaved head, 5speed GT transmission, centerforce stage 1 clutch.

The car at present:
MazdaCarnage's 1988 Mazda 626 MazdaCarnage's 1988 Mazda 626

This car will be done up the best I can with no budget, aside from a head gasket and handbrake cables everything else I have or will make:
The first step, the suspension:
-Monro struts and GT coil springs.
-Front and rear Strut tower bars.
-91 MX6 GT trailing axle Bar.
-Custom double front and rear sway bars:
-(will find wheel spacers and lug nuts).

The Port&Polished head, Subi legacy turbo, ported manifold stock manifold and Centerforce stage 1 clutch:

Front Sway Bar:

Both Sway Bars:

Sway bars, Powder coated. I had to coat them in something, they where bare metal and would of rusted, paint wouldn't hold up to well, so I powder coated them one half at a time, with some new colors I got.

2007, november project:
A white 91 DX that came from the junk yard, the owner tried to turbo charge it and I guess gave up, apparently he took the turbo off to put on his Miata.

The car came with a GT block trani, mounts and shifter assembly, CV,s. the head I assume is from an N/A tune cause the original intake many and injector rail was non turbo and so was everything else.

After I swapped the intake manifold and engine harnesses:

The next step was to Port and Polish the exhaust manifold (with the head on the car:

JANUARY 2008
1993 FORD PROBE GT 5SPEED.
It's 1/2 kitted with rockers and door work.
The engine runs great, the transmission shifts very nicely.
Everything on the car is tight and serviced.
MazdaCarnage's 1988 Mazda 626 MazdaCarnage's 1988 Mazda 626
MazdaCarnage's 1988 Mazda 626 MazdaCarnage's 1988 Mazda 626
MazdaCarnage's 1988 Mazda 626 MazdaCarnage's 1988 Mazda 626
Unfortunately the paint jobs has allot of orange peel and chips, the kit has a few cracks.
The stereo harness was mangled, the seats were destroyed to fit aftermarkets that where sold without the car.
The drivers door skin is falling apart and some of the center console and trunk molding are busted .
(fortunately we just sent an auto gt 93 probe with the same color interior to the junk yard and it has everything we need.)

The good stuff:
The car has no rust or holes in it,
It has cross drilled and slotted rotors all around,
It has pace setter shorty header and full performance exhaust including high flow cat,
It has good aftermarket speakers.

Same as last post, Love your car man! Question for you, do you have an oil pressure and temperature gauge and if so how did you hook it up?
