INTERIOR SWAP This page will be dedicated to the interior swap that I did and the TransAm that contributed to Project Nytehawk.
I managed to get my hands on a Black '82 Trans-Am, ($300).A kid came along after i was done with it and bought it for 400$ . He planned on restoring it to the original black and gold :)
The Black '82 runs, the body and frame were in rough shape(floorboards had work done) BUT... it had a mostly black interior with the original black PMD plush seats(which are in near mint condition). This car's exterior is now all black but used to be Black with Gold trim along the bottom. There havent been any mods to this car to my knowledge.
Here are the the pics that I have of the Black '82 and the PMD interior before I removed it for the swap.
This was The Formula before the swap
During The swap New Carpet Newcarpet
After The Swap All of the interior body panels, got a makeover too with a fresh coat of paint. Light Grey before, Jet Black now.

Hey, when you intalled your PMD's, which seat tracks did you use - the '89's or the '82's? I just finished installing mine with the '89 seat tracks and they seem kinda high. Later.
