This is my beater, or used to be my beater. Its much nicer now after i dropped about $1500 dollars into the car. The car was bought brand new and was handed down to me. I have a '01 Camaro SS and a '03 Altima SE 3.5, and used this car as my winter ride. I always liked the pep of the 4 pot motor and like its boxy looks especially infront of the inflated bubble cars currently on the road... the car had been in an accident several years ago and was totaled by the insurance company.. it was all body damage, no suspension or chassis damage. My dad bought the car back for 350 dollars and have been driving it eversince. I decided to fix it up, so I bought a couple of doors, a fender and a bumper cover, installed it on the car... for about 310 dollars (all the labor was my own) had it painted by Earl Schieb for about 570 dollars, (extra prep and strip to metal on hood along with the pro3 paint job), and slapped on a 499 wheel and tire package i bought off of ebay, and WALA the car was actually nice.. THen i added pioneer 4x6's to the doors, and kenwood threeway 6 inch speakers on the package shelf.. a 12 in 400w fosgate sub in a band pass box in the trunk driven by a old school Crunch USA amp... sounds awesome.... heres some pics...
