Since noone makes a semi hidden winch mount for our truck (Lisa wanted it to remain as stock as possible).I got out the welder,tools and metal and started fabbing. I tied into the stock frame rails and "fishplated" the entire mount/extensions with 1/4" plate and tied it in to the frame in several spots. Test fitting the winch,it fit good so I made a pushbar/brushguard and attached it after replacing the plastic bumper cover. I didn't really loose any ground clearance or approach angle since I cut off all the facory points that hung down.
