Maruha 264/264 8.85mm lift camshafts and adjustable cam gears
Full write-up will come later as I am still in the tuning stage.
For sneak preview, the following is an interesting G-tech power/torque curve. Keep in mind the hp/tq numbers may not be accurate, the curve profiles are close. My previous setup with HKS 256/256 8.7/8.7 HLA cams yields peak power around 6800rpm while the Maruha peaks around 7400rpm. Compared to the HKS, the Maruha setup is definitely making more hp above 6600rpm. However, fine-tuning the Maruha setup to retrieve the best torque w/o losing hp is not easy, as was the case when I did it with the HKS setup; therefore, it's too early to compare torque between HKS and Maruha setup. Despite common misbelief, the torque curve is exceptionally flat with my IRTB setup. For some reason, G-tech PC software cuts off rpm axis too soon, as I know my peak power should be around 7400-7500rpm.
