I finally found a rear bumber filler for my car. Not only did I found one, I found a NOS one on ebay. Had to pay a nice chunck for it but it was worth it. Even though UPS broke it, but I got it fixed. I also got my 3.73 gears in rear, she has some pep now. I also got a 670cfm street avenger carb to let her breather a little better then the 2bbl.
This is my 1977 Chevy Caprice Classic. The car was my grandmother's and was literality their Sunday driver. It was driven to chruch and back. Every winter the car got put away in the garage, so it rarely saw even snow. When i got the car it had just over 64k miles, pictures of the car before I did any work to it are on Page 2. My grandparents bought this car back in 1977 with few options.
The first thing I wanted to do was to get the car painted because the paint on the hood and trunk lid was faded and cracking. I finally decided to change the color also(good choice, I think). The stock hub-caps were pretty damn ugly so I put American Racing wheels(AR-23) on it. Then there was the interior, it was faded and torn badly. Luckly my Dad helped me pay for this part. He paid for a local shop to replace the headliner and carpet and to re-apoltser the seats. I had the shop try to keep the orignal look of the interior. Also as a Christmas gift my dad bought me a Grant 3-Stoke mahogany steering wheel.
