some recent updates since May 2009.
KUKI'S SURGERY DAY. kuki had surgery as rust had eaten the suspensions upper support towers.
then came the change in rims. i swapped to sets of rims just to get this one (13x7 enkei mesh copies and 13x6 toms igetta copies). it's a copy of Tom's igetta called IRD rims. (thats just how its called). its 13x8 rims and i love it. it just need some love and refurbishing.
it was painted brown when i got it but it was all flaky so i started to strip the paint. there was three layers of paint in there and it had tarnished the rim quite badly. i thought i could polish it by myself but after spendin the whole afternoon on one wheel it was useless. it needs to polished by a professional mags refurbisher.
the rim is still in this condition until this day, as i haven't got a spare set of rims to use while i send this out to a refurbisher.
