Haltech Engine Management:

The Haltech Sport 1000 ECU has completely replaced the stock ECU. It tunes based off a MAP sensor, Throttle Position Sensor, Cam Position Sensor, Crank Position Sensor, Intake Air Temp, Coolant Temp, EGT, Two Wideband 02.

It controls all aspects of Fuel and Ignition Timing.

I swapped the Stock 150cc Mazda Injectors for 550cc Subaru STI Injectors.

The RACEPAC IQ3 Dash replaces the stock setup and is tied directly to the Standalone ECU. This lets you see what the car is doing without having the laptop attached. Because it uses the sensors that are attached to the Standalone, There is no need to hook up many things to the Dash. It requires only a few wires to operate and you can modify what it displays completely.

Here is what the final Coil on Plug conversion looks like. LS1 Coils fired Direct.

Radiator:

Tony sold me his Only Prototype Triple Pass Competition Radiator recently, the rad forces the coolant to travel the entire surface of the rad rather than just the path of least resistance, the result, consistent coolant temperature and a much more effective radiator capable of removing all the added heat that the car was never designed to deal with. A Flexilite Fan Pushes air through the rad from the front.

A Flex-a-Lite Pusher fan sits on the front of the Radiator close to the front of the car. It pushes through and that keeps the Radiator free of crap in the engine compartment. It's a real clean looking setup...

Motor Mounts:

The stock motor mount were just not able to keep up with the extra WHP, so the rear one failed a long time ago. Tony at Anthony Woodford Racing offers Poly-U Motor mounts.

Aluminium Hard Pipes:

The hardpipes leave the GT-28s at 2" Aluminum mandrel bends past a Turbo XS-RFL BOV. The 2" travels behind the center of the radiator and is covered by a deflector to lessen heat transfer from the radiator. It travels under the radiator support and into the Intercooler and into the throttle body.

The Story of The First Engine:

The Original Engine decided to DESTROY ITSELF all over the road one night .

It had nothing to do with me not having proper EMS, or forged internals. :)

The loss of my car in September really crushed me, I never really felt it until I got the car back on the road after an entire winter of Planning and Rebuilding. There are so many minor details that have gone into it and I lost track of Money and Time invested in the car. I Love My Hobby and can always just go for a drive with my wife and leave it all behind.
