I'll try to add some stuff here..I'm constantly updating stuff...

This is a 74 Impala Sport Coupe. My dad and I bought it from some old guy in August, 2001 at a weekly cruise night. I beat out like 5 other people who wanted it because the guy lived near me.
This isn't the "glasshouse" with the big inverted back window, it has a fastback style roofline with a flat back window and no B-posts, it's a true hardtop. This makes a bit rarer than the other Custom Coupes, and the 74 Impalas as a whole aren't common to begin with from what I've seen. Outkast just had one in that "The Way You Move" video, but that is a "glasshouse" Custom Coupe.
1974 is also the only 71-76 style Impala that didn't use a modified or hand-me-down Caprice nose.
This car is code 46 Bright Green Metallic, which is a awesome lookin' lime green with gold metalflakes. That was the only year you could get this exact color. It has been repainted before but it's still the original color. The interior is a matching nasty green color. I plan to have the seats redone.
It's a 350 2-bbl with a TH350 tranny.
It has A/C, but that don't work! Not many Impalas had A/C though. I plan on having the system gone through.
I have gathered a lot of NOS parts and stuff to fix this car up with, like trim pieces, emblems, and the plastic bumper fillers. I also have 3 74 Caprice dealer promo models, original dealer brochures, and a 1974 Impala 2 page magazine ad,
It's real nice now, but I want it perfect. Most people tell me it's mint though.
In the future I'll add seat covers, get some rust fixed and have the whole car painted again in the original color. First I'm getting the TH350 rebuilt, maybe some Flowmasters and a few other things.
Here are a couple of pics on page 2 taken in Aug. 2002, it was all dirty then, so it usually looks better, since then we added a set of Firestone FR721 wide whitewalls and some other stuff. Tell me what u think!
I also put some pics of a dealer promo model of a 74 Caprice here.
If anyone is from Boston, Holla Back! Come meet up with me so we can go to a cruise night during the summer, I go to most of them with the Impala.
And sign my frickin' guestbook man!
