Body Shop Pics:
Some pics of the car when I was changing the color in the winter of 2002-2003

Here it is at Coventry Restorations (where I work) in the paint booth getting ready for me to apply another coat of Sikken's Black color build.

And here it is with a fresh coat of color build awaiting another block sanding.

A picture after I sprayed the door jams

Here she is fresh outta the paint booth, the car was sprayed by a fellow co-worker Mike Serfin, it was sprayed on Saturday March 8, 2003, I spent the next week wet sanding and buffing the car. It rolled out of the shop on March 15, 2003. I wetsanded the car first with 1,000 grit and then with 1,200 and buffed it with a wool pad at about 1450 RPMs first with 3M's Perfect it and then Finesse it II. I then switched to a foam pad and used Meguiar's Swirl Free to finish it up.
An estimated 40 hours was spent in just wet sanding and buffing alone.
