This is my dads 68' Corvette 327 street legal drag car. Hes had the car since it was only 6 months old no winters. Started drag racing 2 years ago running in the low 9s in with just throttle body injection in the 1/8th theres no 1/4 tracks close to us. The year after that he put a racing clutch, cam, roller rockers, electic water pump, revkit,linelock, and a autometer tach. Towards the end of the season he put in a richmond 5 speed instead of changing the rearend gears. With the 5 speed and other parts it was running 8.4s in the 1/8th and no slicks just a set of wide nylon street tires. This year is the major upgrade. The 327 is being replaced with a blown 350 engine with afr 220cc heads and a 6-71 blower. The car is almost complete now 1 or 2 weeks and it should be down at the track test n tuning. We will take the car to the dyno and a 1/4 mile once we get it tuned up.

Got up to ther track having traction problems we did get it to go 100mph in the 1/8th have some track photos also

Car is finally up and running taking it to the track this week also I added a lot of new pictures of the car now on page 2
