phat_gtp7's 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix

There she is! I've had this car about 3 years now, and we (my boyfriend and I) have focused mainly on the engine work so far. We have done a few cosmetic upgrades such as the SD hood, VT grilles, and some minor decals. Now that the motor and powertrain are coming together nicely, we are going to dedicate some time to making it look a little nicer.

NEW UPGRADES:

We decided to switch to yet another intercooler system. This time we stayed with the W-Body Store unit, but purchased their brand new version, which includes a functional PCV system, and a split plate system. The core is the only thing we changed, as the heat exchanger unit and pump were upgraded at the last intercooler change.

We also opted to use a ZZP Stage 4 blower unit. This blower has been ported on the outlet side to reduce outlet temps, and has the throttle body inlet opened up to 75.5mm to allow for a larger throttle body (which will be added in the VERY near future). The snout has been machined down to allow a smaller pulley to be ran, as the stock snout only allows down to a 2.8" pulley. Before installation, I painted both the snout and the blower housing to dress up the engine bay a little bit.

To further dress up the engine bay, I got rid of the old PRJ fuel rails, and purchased a set of ZZP GenI fuel logs. After getting them to seat correctly (which was not easy), they are a GREAT addition to the car.

Continue on to see some pics of the engine!
