California 1976 BMW 2002. Second owner (first owners were very close family friends). We got the car from our friends in 1994, who had the '02 sitting on the side of thier house for years. It was not running, the paint and interior were not great, but there was absolutely no rust. My dad restored it and drove it as a weekend car until 2000. It was my daily driver from June 2000 until November 2008, when I decided to make it a weekend warrior until I'm able to really drop some money into it. Unfortunately 1976 cars in California still have to be smogged, so the engine mods have been minimal. Still has some go, and handles very well.
