Here is my 2.8 chevette, with a V6 from a 83 Pontiac Firebird, with a 5 speed transmission.I have run it with the carb last summer without trouble,I have swaped for the multiport from a 85 camaro this winter. Not tested on road, but run great.

It's very tight to some place, there is a little place for the chevette power steering pump. The oil filter is screw directly on the engine,no adaptor

I use a fan driven by the water pump,it's the factory fan,I have use a forklift truck pulley, bolt right here and bolt the fan on it,I use an electric fan mounted between the radiator and the bumper controled by a temp switch on the intake doum_chevette's 1985 Chevrolet Chevette

Tight for the exhaust,I have cut a little part of the frame rail and weld it after for the passenger side exhaust,no problem with the driver side.doum_chevette's 1985 Chevrolet Chevette

0.5 inch or clearance between the distributor cap and the heater box,but after the picture I have remolded the box for a better clearance doum_chevette's 1985 Chevrolet Chevette

It's a firebird 5 speed, with a chevette clutch fork, tail, output shaft and speedometer gear installed in it doum_chevette's 1985 Chevrolet Chevette
