1973 2002
Polaris Silver. Approximately 80% restored by the previous owner. Work performed included new bare metal re-spray; new suspension components with all new bushings; S/T springs and sway bars; Bilstein sports; 2002 turbo radiator; re-stuffed front and rear seats; new undercoating and ziebart rust proofing and a complete engine rebuild. After that the car was only an occasional driver.
I purchased the car in 2002 and use it as my daily driver. Since then I have replaced the window regulators, door catches, rear window seal, heater fan, installed new carpeting from Bimmer Parts, Pertronics ignition and added a front strut bar. Due to a bad head gasket there was pitting in one cylinder and so the engine was completely rebuilt with new 9:1 pistons, schrick 284 cam and weber 38/38 carb. Other recent upgrades include a 5 speed OD, 3:90 LSD and 13"x 6" ATS rims powder coated "chrome black".
Other features include Tii clock, flip up sun roof air deflector, Hella H4's and Italian turn signals.
Here are some photos from the Northwest 02 Festival from the spring of 2002. Over 116 2002's were in attendance. Big thanks to Scott Stoddard for putting on a great event!

Wow, I love the 02! Do you still have it? I am in Seattle and looking for an 02, in the market to sell?
Thanks
