I decided to make some subtle changes to the exterior of the car. On went rolled, slashed chrome exhaust tips, a new windshield decal, wheels, a fuel door, and i finally decided to lower the car. I went with MRT for the tips, Eibach for springs, AFS again, for the wheels. But this time i upped the wheel size to 18's. 18x9 fronts and 18x10.5 rears. Finding a fuel door turned out to be the most tricky.. not just for a different look, but i wanted to be able to use the automatic trunk release button again. Originally, the door i wanted to use was made by UPR Products. They made a fuel door that had a polished outer ring with a black powdercoated door. The key to it tho was they engraved on the door, the exact replica of the Cobra emblem found on the side fenders and the front grill. Unfortuantely, Ford ordered UPR to stop making the door because of copyright issues over the emblem. The new emblem UPR came up with was.. well.. anyway.... So looking around i finally found a company that made a fuel door that instantly caught my eye.. called AMI: www.allsalesmfg.com I ended up buying a black powdercoated outer ring with a chrome door. Great piece of eye candy..
