General info:
1997 Ford Ranger SuperCab STX 4x4, 13" of lift over stock, 35x16 Boggers on Mickey Thompson 15x10 Classic II wheels, ARB air-compressor, 3" body lift, Grizzly roll/light bar w/KC Daylighters, custom FORD emblems for the grill and tail-gate, 2 1/2% tint on the rear and Supercab windows, 35% tint on the door glass, AutoCommand remote starter.

Front axle specs:
Narrowed '79 Bronco Dana 44, Skyjacker coils from a Ranger 8" TTB lift kit, ARB air-locker, 4.56 gears, steel braided brake lines, red polyurethane 7* "C" bushings, black poly rear radius arm bushings.

Rear axle specs:
Stock 8.8 w/Moser axleshafts w/custom 5 on 5.5" bolt pattern, Skyjacker leaf springs from an 8" Ranger lift kit, 4" blocks, ARB air-locker, 4.56 gears, steel braided brake line, disc brakes, lowered carrier bearing bracket (to correct driveshaft u-joint angles).

Stock items:
4.0 engine, 5-speed auto tranny, B/W 1354 transfer case, interior (except for a "shelf-it" and several "extra" switches).

Here are some before and after pics of the Boggers and "blackout". I also have some headlight blackouts that are not shown. I painted and clearcoated the bumpers, front bumper valance, grill, headlight trim, fender flares and radio antenna. I repainted the KC light covers and smoked the fog and tail lights.

Tailgate decal and smoked tail light. Not a real good pic, tail lights look darker in real life.

I have done all of the rebuild, modification, and installation work on the truck...Except for...cutting and resplining the right axleshaft and cutting, swedging, and threading the steering and trac bar linkage for the Dana 44 front axle.
To make it close to "Ranger" width, the axle shaft and housing was cut/shortened 6" off the right (passengers) side. The steering and trac bar links are 1/4" wall 4130 Chromoly. The pitman arm and knuckle holes were reamed to accept 3/4" Grade 8 bolts. The rod ends (heims) for the links are 3/4"x3/4" aircraft grade XM12s.
