Page One - First Day Pics/History/Updates
Brief History: I found this in the Pennysaver over the summer of '03. The kid was asking $3000 for it, yes $3000 not $300, but I went to look at it anyways. I got there, looked it over, and offered him a trade on our '93 intrepid with a million miles on it, for which we were going to sell for $800 bucks. I asked for his car plus $200 from him for our car. He quickly agreed and a deal was made. I got the title 2 days later and it was at my house. The car ran for a little, then stopped. It had a timing or electrical problem, but no worries, a t2 motor is going in (more explained later). The interior was in very decent shape except for the tear in the armrest and a broken sunvisor, no glovebox, rear hatch didn't stay open, and the rear exhaust hanger was broke. But it did have a pair of Carroll Shelby headlight covers that i never saw before. When I first got it, I didn't know a great deal about cars, not that much more than the common joe would. But after getting a lot of help from members of www.turbododge.com, looking through my FSM's, and most of all talking with my knowledgable dad about everything, I was able to learn a great deal about these cars, and rebuilding or restoring cars in general.
Now for the pics...
Here is my car the first day i got it home, after a quick wash.

The "Shelby" decal located on the back hatch window.

And the ugly t1 non-intercooled motor. It was this way for about a month, then i started tearing it all apart.

Another one close up. It soon won't look like this anymore!

Last one... I'm glad to see a new motor going in soon.

Interior shots (nothing cleaned at time of pics)...
Here is the interior from the drivers side:

Pic of dash (after gauge pod was installed and new pedal pads put on. The shifter and middle console are also out of the car at time of pic)

*UPDATE 3/21*: The full t2 conversion is just about done. This weekend, my dad and I figured out the starter problem and got it up and running. Everything checks out and works great. I just have to finish plumbing the heater hoses, radiator hoses, and intercooler hoses, and finish my small misc. stuff in the engine bay.
