I am currently in Iraq with nothing but time, so this whole site will undergo some changes in the up coming weeks. The 240 is about 95% done and will be completed when I get home. I ended up going KA24det. The engine is built and runs but the front clip needs to be done before I can really get this thing tuned and to the track. Right now it has only driven on and off the trailer to go to storage for this trip. Also, I have a new project, it's a 1970 Dodge Charger R/T SE. More to come soon.
site refurb start date: 2 Oct 2007
The car is still in PA and my dad has been driving it to save on gas believe it or not. Watch out cause he will race ya!
This is a spread taken by me of rudy's car and truck and of course the 240.
The Story (I only keep this around so I can remember, not worth reading)
I bought my 240 in Clayton, NC about 15 minutes south east of Raleigh. I saw the car on the way up to Capital Blvd. in Raleigh to hang out and see some of the cars in the town. I was with one of my friends in his 98' prelude and he new some of the guys in town. The car was sitting beside the dealership almost as if not forsale, but like sort of in the bushes so I thought that it might not be running. We passed it and I didn't think too much about it after that until we passed it on the way home at like 5am. I pointed it out to my friend and he agreed to come up with me on monday after work to take a better look and talk to the dealer. I went up on monday and talked to someone there and he told me it was repoed and thats about it. When I asked if it was forsale he said "everything is forsale ha ha ha". He said I needed to talk to the owner about it and gave me his cell phone number. I didn't call it and waited until the next day to call the dealership and talk to him. Once again I ended up talking to the same guy and he told me to call the owner cause he wasn't in again. About a week went by and I didn't talk to anyone. So I tried again and this time I talked to the owner by luck. So he gave me his salesman pitch and tried to tell me how much he had in the car and that the clutch was new and that it had a wierd problem that he couldn't figure out. It was repoed cause he warrantied it and couldn't solve the problem but for only three days at a time, it just kept coming back to get fixed. So he took it back. He said the car was a money pit and that he just wanted rid of it. He asked me how much I wanted to pay and I said $1000. So he tried to say how much it was worth again and I think he finally could see that I wasn't going to budge. Heck I could've gone lower and should've too. I agreed to pay it off in two months while he kept the car and when I paid in full it was mine. I needed to get it towed or trailered because of the problem that it appently had. When I paid it off and a very good friend of mine agreed to bring his Expedition and trailer it back to Goldsboro for me. We used some muscle and a come along to get it on the trailer and took it home. Upon inspection I found the owners statement to be untrue. The clutch that was in it was toast. The friction pad on the pressure plate fell to the ground when I started to unbolt the clutch. The funny thing was that there was only one friction pad. The other side was completely missing. Also the engine was only running on three cylinders because the #3 cylinder wasn't firing. It turns out that all of the injectors were dirty and one was clogged. Other than that the car was in ok condition. Check soon cause I'm going to post some pics of what it looked like when I first got it.

Ok Brent, this is what you need to do... First, COME HOME!!! Then you need to sell the 240 and buy a Mustang. Next up would be sell that Frontier and get a Powerstroke. Then sell some of those "toys" and sell the Acura. Keep the Scout as a nice beater/trail vehicle. Simple. I just figured out all your dilemma's! Just get your ass back home man!
