RIP
I have had this car since 96. I bought this with no extra options. Didn't even get powered doors or windows. I got it brand new and left it stock until 2001. I wanted to do something different that no one in my town would normally see. I hope some of you out there would appreciate this effort and not slam me because I don't drive a particular model car. I appreciate any constructive criticism. Any Saturn owners in Seattle that are interested in hooking up and talking about cars let me know in my guestbook. All pictures are listed with dates from present to past.
Special thanks goes out to Brian's Autosport in combination with Combined EFX car club and Mieneke on 85th Aurora in Seattle.

OK here's the link to my new replacement. I decided not to go with another Saturn. I wanted to try something new. But for a moment I wanted a Redline. I test drove a Mini Cooper S, WRX, Spectra, Eclipse GST, and an Audi A4. Also looked at RSX and Mustangs. Was going to try the SRT4 but I have had my heart set on a Subaru. So anyways sorry to dissapoint the Saturn community. I got love for all rides I'm not biased. Check it out here http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2204745
(12.12.2005) RIP
Alright let's have a moment of silence. On Sunday, December 11, 2005 approximately 12:15a was the last run for Rated R SL2. I hit black ice on a bridge and crashed into the concrete embankment going about 30mph. The car immediately rolled twice. I was lucky to have no injuries so far. I had always thought I would crash this vehicle in a street race but I was proven wrong. It's not worth it to salvage this car but it's been a faithful vehicle for almost 10 years now. You will be missed. Stay tuned another car will be bought and fixed up. I'm currently test driving a few right now. Please scroll past the crash photos to see this ride in it's few moments of glory.

Here's a quick pic from the 4th Annual Car Show in Tacoma's B@I. I was also at Traffic Jam Northgate Mall on 8/13th. Sorry no pics from that. I was surrounded by cars, there was no room for any pics. Both were outdoor show on 2 of the nicest days that Seattle and Tacoma has seen. Between both I'm roasted. Spent 8 hours in the sun on both. Luckily I tan and not peel. Also a shout-out goes to cardomain's damienmarie, her and the club World Wide represented at the show. She brought out her clean looking Ion. Good luck to her and all the members in future shows, we'll meet again!

Sorry it's been a while since I've updated. I finally got the LCD screen in my car. I don't have pics yet. The first two pics are from HIN 2005 at the Qwest Exhibition Hall. That trophy was from a small local show in Monroe. I got 3rd place for 4 door street mild class. My first trophy... hopefully it won't be my last. The third is the entire Combined EFX Car Club, now with 8 members. From left to right: Mustang, Sentra, Accord, Sedona, Civic SI, Spectra, and my Saturn. The only car missing in the photo was the BMW 325. That pic was in front of the exhitbition hall. That's it for now I will be getting ready for another show at the Northgate mall this Saturday 8/13. Later!

Alright sorry long time no post. These are some updated pics from the Chehalis Lowrider show. I didn't win anything but it was fun. The first pic is part of the car club. I just installed the slotted rotors and painted my calipers.

(5/31/2005)
These are from the TBAD Seattle car show at the Qwest Stadium. Sorry the pics are dark.

New shots of what the intake now looks like. I have removed the intake pipe itself and stuck the filter directly on the throttlebody. It works very well. The only problem is that you have to put some kind of padding between the firewall and the filter. Otherwise the filter will hit the firewall and causing a loud thunk. At first I thought my tranny was going out. My fan is now blowing directly into the filter. The fan is also rigged to a switch so I can leave it on all the time. Also a pic of my custom shift boot.

Here are some random pics. Taken after washing the car.

Here are some updated photos of the exhaust tips. I put them on because the original tips were receded behind the new rear bumper. All the exhuast was burning the bumper. These are not the best looking things in the world. But for temporary uses they will work. Sorry for the quality of the photos, they were taken with my Sony Clie Palm device.

Here are some pics at night time. The photos are'nt that great.

Ok here it is the bodykit is finally done. I just got it back today. Now my next step is (and I can't believe I'm saying this) I need to raise my car back up. This thing is slightly less that 3 inches off the ground in the front. Way too low for driving in Seattle.

(7/19/04)
Here are some new pics from the Import Life Tour car show at the Sandpoint Naval base on July 17, 2004. The van behind that is my friends Kia Sedona.

(7/11/04)
These are new to the car club. Super bikes! We are going to be tricking these out as well. Stay tuned more to come...

(6/24/04)
Here are the pics of my new seats. I'm getting ready for the July 17th Import Life car show. These were a pain in the ass to get installed. Thanks to my friend, we finally got them done. Now you can see an updated pic of the interior. My seats finally match my dash. Stay tuned I found a guy to fabricate a custom hood....

(2/28/04)
Alright I said I would do it and here it is dual exhuast setup. It is now 2.5" all the way through. Dual mufflers, brand new resonator and polished chrome tips. Mieneke was nice enough to paint the tubes and muffler under the car black so that they would blend in to the bottom of the car. I will be getting ready for a car show on July 17th at the Sandpoint Naval Base. More pics to come. Also a better pic of my hoodscoop and a nice clean top shot of my car after it was washed. The 'under the hood' pic is current. You can see the intake system and headers. All modifications are listed at the bottom of this page.

(2/16/04)
Updated pic of the shifter with the matching ebrake cover I got off of ebay. Also you can see the Stage 2 performance chip under the A/C controls
(1/26/04)
Here are updated pics. Thats my new speaker and amp, a better pic of my VW antenna and my new shift knob. In case some of you are wondering why I went from 2 10" to a 10" sub, I'm trying to make my car lighter. I also took out the spare tire.

(1/19/04)
Pic of the neon above my speaker box and a new pic of the neon installed inside my center vent. I moved it from the center console.

This is my car at the Import Revolutions car show on Dec 13, 2003. This was the first time I had ever shown my car. That is my friend's Kia Sedona next to it. He took home best minivan that night.

Here are some pics of the neon bar across the rear deck. This is hooked up to my dome light, so it only comes on when the doors are open. You can also see the reflection of the OEM VW antenna I hooked up to the roof.
