I don't own this car any longer

KC_Si's 1999 Honda Civic

HONDOG
Ok, maybe it is just another Civic.
This is my 1999 Honda Civic Si. The Si is the only DOHC equipped from the factory Civic in America, in fact, the 99 Si was the first dual cam Civic to land on our shores. The car comes ready to roll from the factory with the B16A2 DOHC VTEC engine putting out 160hp @ 7600RPM and 111 ftlbs of torque @ 7000 rpm. Yeah, not much torque. A pretty decent suspension and 4 wheel disc brakes are another step up from the lower model Civics.
When I was looking for a new car in the summer of 2002 I found myself at the Honda dealership and picked up this 1999 Si with about 35k miles on it. It had some nasty after market headlights and taillights, along with some heavy, cheap 17" wheels. All of these things would soon be removed.
The car did have some performance mods on it though. Those are listed below.
ENGINE MODS
AEM cold air intake
DC Sport header
Random Technology hi-flo cat
DC Sport catback exhaust
SUSPENSION MODS
Ground Control coilovers
KYB AGX adjustable shocks
Energy Supsension motor mount inserts
Stock upper strut brace up front
off brand upper strut brace in rear
WHEELS AND TIRES
16" Rota Circuit 8's (bronze)
Sumitumo HTZR II 205/45/16
EXTERIOR
DIY CTR Headlights
INTERIOR
CTR gauge bezel
CTR style shift knob
JVC headunit
KENWOOD speakers in the doors
MB QUART speakers in the rear deck
So with help from those supporting mods I have built a daily driver that is mildly quick, handles very well, and has a pretty good sounding stereo.
