I took the dash pad and back off so that I could install the stereo much easier and clean it up cause it still had the old guys cig stuff everywhere in there and was stinkin.

Cornbreadsqpan's 1987 Ford Bronco IIDash has a few small cracks so I'm planning on filling them and covering it with some fabric. Update: I said to heck with the fabric and just painted it.

Cornbreadsqpan's 1987 Ford Bronco II Shot of the dash apart and stuff hanging out everywhere.

Cornbreadsqpan's 1987 Ford Bronco II Just another pic of the dash apart.

Cornbreadsqpan's 1987 Ford Bronco II I painted the black part of the dash another kind of black to match the rest of my Interior, Looks much better than the photo.

Cornbreadsqpan's 1987 Ford Bronco II I don't know for all years but in my 87 this is the part that makes the awful noise when the door is open or the lights are left on.. I have disconnected it years ago. I just thought I would take a few shots so ppl knew where and what to look for if they wanted to remove it as well.

Cornbreadsqpan's 1987 Ford Bronco II I am not sure what all it does but I haven't noticed any negative effects for removing it.

Cornbreadsqpan's 1987 Ford Bronco II This is what is located in the center of the dash on my truck and as far as I can tell it run the transfer case cause it always makes noise when I hit any of the 4x4 buttons.
Cornbreadsqpan's 1987 Ford Bronco II The SAME dash as above after I put some fiber glass filler and epoxy on it and painted it.

Cornbreadsqpan's 1987 Ford Bronco II Shot of same spot as the cracked one above.
Cornbreadsqpan's 1987 Ford Bronco II Its ready to go back in.

Hey CornBread! haha, I'm surprised I've never signed your guest book here before.. huh.. anyhow, the B-II looks great & hope you & the fam' are doing great. By the way, I left ZFT... it finally got to the point that it was just taking up time that could be better spent else where with 10x's the positive results. Just wanted to let you know so you don't get suspicious as to why I'm never there any more. See ya at www.broncoii.org the next time your there. Later!
