Old Int!
I used some spray bedliner to make the middle black, I think it looks a lot better. Later I will make my own door panels though.
This is pretty much how it looked when I got it, other than the floor mats, steering wheel cover and black bezel.
I sanded the wood grain off the bezel and used spray bedliner to make it black, turned out pretty well. I also took the awful green out of the blinkers and made them red. I took the green filters off the bulbs behind the guages as well.
I took the ashtray out cause I don't smoke, I took the light out of it because the guy that had the truck before me smoked and burned it up. I actually didn't know it was there till after I took the dash apart. I have taken the wires and extended them and will run them to the back for future upgrades and things of the sort. I took out the factory radio and installed a Pioneer Deh-3500. In place of the ashtray I have a 40watt power booster to the rear speakers.
I took the front speakers out of the dash, mostly cause they sucked and that is one of the worst places to have them. I made this box and put some 4x6 pioneers in them that I had laying around. It actually sounds a lot better than it looks, and is a much better location. This isn't going to stay though, its just to get me by. The redish wire you can see off to the right is the old power wire to the bulb in the ashtray.
Passenger side door, pretty much the same as the drivers.
Pics of the 60-40 split seat that needs to go. I'm going to look around and see if I can find anything, there is a tempo parked here so I may give those a test.
O.k I pulled them out and here they are. Kinda dirty, but nothing a seat cover can't fix.
I can't wait to stick a console in this area. I would kill for a cup holder (other than my wife).
Here is the passenger seat. I had to switch the tracks over and they matched up a little different. There are a lot of different holes on the track so I just ran some really strong bolts up through the hole and into the seat. Works really well.
This is just a pic to show the seats from the back and the int of the back. I removed the rear carpet and fake wood spacers. I sprayed in rubberized 3m undercoating. Then I have this carpet (that came with it) in there so it takes all the abuse. I just leave my old mats in the back so if I have to get under the truck I don't have to be on the rocks, and they keep stuff from moving around.
