Hi Welcome to my car page. This small section is dedicated to my second Micra/March and very special car - The Nissan March SuperTurbo.Whats new? 14/01/04 This whole thing is. Leave some comments with what you would like to see added most, and I shall do my best to do so. Early days yet, probably wont be updated much but you never know!Quick Links:1 My car 2 EngineOk so why is this car so special? In 1988 Nissan decided to enter the new Group B rally. To do this they took a Nissan March (Micra in Europe) and modified it. They scaled the engine down to 930cc which both strengthened the engine and allowed it with the 1.7x forced induction factor to enter the 1600cc class. They then added both a Supercharger and a Turbocharger. Finally to comply with the homologation rules they had to build a production car and this became the Nissan March Superturbo. This is what I have here. Only 10,000 were officially made and with its unique engine design made it the first production car in Japan ever to have both a supercharger and turbocharger. The result of this was a car that when compared to its stock model had over twice the power, less than half the 0-60 time and was still nearly as light. To read about my March ST please goto page 2!

I personally imported this car into the UK in May 1991. It was totally standard except for a Blitz turbotimer. First thing is needed was a pretty good clean and a service, nothing much more changed except for fitting a Clarion Multimedia system and new alloys. Over the next few months I attended several santa pod days. The best time I managed was 15.99 seconds at 84 mph. I ran about 12 times that day and two weeks later the clutch began to fail just before the Japanese Auto Extravangasa car show in Northampton UK. However it did make it and stood proudly on the Micra Sports Club stand and at this time possibly the most powerfull Micra in the country. Ill add more later but now click to goto the engine.
