History of the car
Car was bought used in Novi Sad, but originaly it was bought brand new in Berlin 28.05.1986. Car suffered several crashes. I continued that tradition with two, new crashes! After first crash I have decided not to sell my golf, and than again, same story after second crash.
Every part was purschased from Germany, exept a few things that I bought here in Beograd, which was second-hand parts! Some of them are from Corado, Passat and Golf III. Here are some photos of my car in a garage!
Golf used to be very retro, and I have changed that!
I bought new cd player, Pioneer MP-3600! Two new Sony speakers, and Woofer LongMill (200 Watt RMS).
Also there is new Brembo disks and Textar braking pads.
Suspension is combo of Eibach springs and KYB shocks. That show to be a good combination.
Rims are Mengels with Kumho tyres (Supra 195/45 R15)
Aerodymanic ventilation for air-filter.
Clear tail-lights, produced by In-Pro.
Clear side indicators, also produced by In-Pro.
Front bumper Gladiator, custom made by Fandjo Belgrade Customs.
Imasaf auspuff system.
Engine is a story for itself. It is '86 model 1.8 8v motor with black K-jet injectors. New neuspeed camshaft, NGK triple sparks, original Golf GTi ventiles. For everything else I really don't know names and words on English. But I do know it has more that 180 horse power which is impresive for '89 golf. Now it has new top bottom which is originaly from G60 but it looks grate on this engine, too.
