Hey this is my V8 VQ Statesman. I've had it since December '03 and it's a great car to drive and good for cruising. When i bought it it already had pacemaker extractors with a 3" all the way through exhaust with duel 2 1/2" pipes at the end, which sounds pretty good and is nice and loud too which I like, and it had already been lowered, window tint and had 16" ROH alloy wheels. And inside the car is an after market steering wheel, sony headunit with 2 x alpine 6x9's. It had only done 152000 kms aswell which is a pretty good find for a '91.
So far all I have added is 2 x Pioneer 12" 1200w subs which came in a box which is powered by a 1000w Epsilon amp and i've got a 250w Apline amp powering my 2 6x9's.
I've got heaps of plans for it but never have much money so they are going to happen really slowly.
I should have pics of my subs and amps soon and i'll put them on here when I do.
I have recently had to put a recon engine in my car which ended up costing me around the $3000 mark and i've also had my gearbox recond. aswell as getting a stage 2 shift kit which cost me $2200 which is great and chirps 2nd real easy. The shift kit really changes gears real quick, it makes a huge difference and it all depends on how you drive the car as to how hard it changes gear too so you can just drive it slowly and it's basically all smooth changes but there is always bit of a kick going into 2nd gear. But if you play around with it a lil bit you find out how to make it so it doesn't kick so much with taking your foot off the accelerator just before it changes.
Another thing that I have done is put aftermarket tailights on my car which i'll have to add some pics of when I get some. They cost me $160 and that's for clear performance tailights.
