UPDATE PICS

These were taken in mid Feburary of 04 while still winter but I got him out of hibernation to do a little tinkering and just for the sake of hearing him start and rumble. The shop where I would be working on him was right beside the storage area so it wasn't harmful to take him out.

ALL of these pics are of a very dirty GENERAL LEE. After sitting during winter hibernation, he needs a bath big time and an engine and chrome polish. All of which he'll recieve once the weather warms and its time for cruising. So please omit the dirt

NEW pics of the correct air cleaner and pie plate with the new chrome valve covers. I think it cleans the carr up a bit while still giving it some eye appeal and correctness. The chrome definately breaks up all that orange while the air cleaner still keeps it looking factory. I know the orange covers are the way it is supposed to be but sometimes there is just too much of one color. I think in this case, I made the better choice. Still more detailing to do though. All in due time.

Here you can see my autograph from BIG SUGAR lead singer GORDIE JOHNSON in the centre console. I met him last summer at our local festival where I did security and brought the General down because he is a huge Charger fanatic. We talked for about a half hour and got pics together with the whole band. I'll post those pics as soon as I get them.

These next few pics you can see my newly chromed bumpers that were done this past winter and re-installed last summer. Looks a hell of a lot better.
