Rest of the new pics on page 7
Hey Y'all, my name is Ryan and this is My absolute pride and joy. I've dreamed about owing my 69 Charger ever since I can remember, more so a "General Lee".
In 2001, I found my Charger out west in British Columbia, the far west coast of Canada. I live in Ontario and for the 6 odd years I've looked for the right car, it seemed either too much money or not enough car, being full of bondo/rust. After chasing too many too good to be true cars I decided I'd widen my search to the west coast. It was then I found this one in Mopar Collector's Guide and decided after many phone calls and questions asked and answered I would fly out west to investigate. This car was Orig. from California and then brought north to B.C. for me to buy. After settling on a price for what the car was, I shipped it home. The car is all straight and has no rust. The interior is mostly orig and needs some work and some weather stripping but other than that its in tremendous shape.
Since I was about 12 I have searched the marketplace to keep an eye on the rising cost of these cars. After all my research and love for these cars, the hard work paid off in finding a great car for my budget.
To answer a few quick, but always present questions that come with all General Lees
1) The doors are not welded shut, occasioally I will go through the window for fun, but rarely.
2)the pushbar, as you can see is present. The rollbar is coming very shortly, but just the 2 point dummy style.
3)Yes, it has the Dixie horn.
4) I have No idea where Daisy is.
5) Motor is a 440 Magnum backed by a 727 auto Torqueflite.
6) This Charger is a real R/T car built by the factory
Any other questions I'll be happy to answer!
