Here is a pic of my 1967 Beaumont SD. I've owned it for 21 years now...bought it when i was 14 and restored it with the help of my dad to what you see here. I took 2 years to do it so that when i turned 16 this was my ride. So far the only changes since i started driving it in '89 are the engine and wheels/tires. Spring 2008, time for an engine swap, a mild 396 was put in place of the raunchier 350... its tamer, quieter, but looks good with the BBC between the fenders.

The engine is now a mild 396, with a summit 1301 cam, and roller rockers. Edelbrock Perf RPM intake and Holley 770SA carb. The tranny is a TH350 with a 2400RPM stall convertor and the original 3:73 gears. When i was showing the car more i had some multiple carb set-ups on the car like 3 deuces and polished 2-4's.

Here's a pic under the car. I run ET Streets and 3" exhaust.

The car has the original unrestored interior (new door panels) and the vinyl top was installed in '72! Even the weatherstripping is original, all i did was take it off the doors, clean it, spray it with vinyl dye and put it back on after paint.

I love cruising this car on Sunday nights, a bit of racing, and going to some car shows. The car has won about 30 trophies, including Best Paint, Best Street Engine, Judges Choice, Show Chairmans Choice, Peoples Choice and Top Car Student
