Hello Van enthusiests.
axjax's 1987 Toyota Van Its been a year since I purched my first Toyota 4WD van and cannot believe how much I love them, completly unexpected. I have been Wheein Toyota minis, and Cruisers for years and have not had as much fun off-road as I have had with this van. Its just so wierd, but yet it does very well for a stock minivan.
axjax's 1987 Toyota VanI have included some pictures of my friend and I on the first ever Toyota 4wd Van off road rendezvous. This was on the 5+ rated Pardoe trail in Northern California. Aprox. 100 miles south of Lake Tahoe. It was a lot of fun and the Vans did it with relative ease. There were a few tricky obsticles that we had to conquer. But for the most part its is a very senic trail. Traversing green meadows filled with wildflowers, up and down steep mountain ridges and through hidden canyons with small streams or rivers flowing through them. All this in the beutiful backdrop of the high Sierras. Growing up in southern Utah's backcountry, I can appreciate a high mountain forest and all it has to offer. But my roots still long to wheel the canyonlands of southern Utah. MORE PITURES ON PAGE 2
axjax's 1987 Toyota VanThe Van is a great vehicle, just ask anyone who owns one, they are extemely reliable long lasting vehicles. They are espesially great for that person who finds themselfs traveling long distance just to end up on some dirt road. They want to continue but its getting a little rough for there 2wd and they do not want to get stranded, so they turn around. Back on the highway they start to think, "I wonder where that road went." No more with the van. Now you can cruise the highway in comfort, conqer that trail you've had your eye on and carry all your gear/freinds at a very low cost.

If these vans catch your interest check out the all new Toyota Van website. Join the forum so we can talk "VANS". I also want to invite Previa, Sienna, and Hiace Owners to join, there is a special spot just for you. See ya there!

Scott

All these great looking vans.Do you guys know a good place for parts? I am looking for the steering middle arm [or link] for my 1985 Toyota van. I already have a new idler and pitman arms. But no one seems to know what I am talking about. All the wrecking yards here in my part of Texas have crushed all their old vans. If anyone knows a wrecking yard or a hard to find parts place that would handle it please E-mail me at OverkillHarvill@Gmail.com
