The perfomance specs off to the side are what the car was at before it came off the road. not bad.. the new estimates are down below in the simulation runs... take a gander... not too shabby!
So here is the rough cut of the mods.
I scrapped the stock SemiMechanical injection system and installed a......
NEW MS digital laptop programmable fuel injection system ( MS Computer, 40 Lb Bosch type III injectors, Custom Fabricated fuel rail)
New intake system with conical filter
New Billet Aluminum 1.5 inch Adjustable blow off valve, Claimed 115db Blow off sound!!!!
Ported and polished both inside and outside of the intake manifold.
Ported and polished the compressor housing of the stock 3K K26 Turbo.
New Custom Fabricated Single pass intercooler, (way more flow then the POS stock 2 pass intercooler)
New Billet Aluminum adjustable fuel pressure regulator
New Yellow Silicone Vacuum Hose kit.
Removed the entire A/C system for a lightening, along with alot of other unnecessary components. about 250 lbs off the car. ( i cant wait to get rid of the stock power seats,they weigh like 80 lbs each!!!)
17" 15 spoke rage rims with 225/40r17 tires
New B+G Sport Lowering Springs
New KYB front and rear Struts
New Kevlar clutch disk
New Stainless braided brake lines
New interior (dash , center console, front seats)
New BMW 3 series headlamps, along with custom clear cornermarkers.
New Clevite 77 conrod bearings.
This is what is going to be installed ASAP, ( i have it already)
New TO4E-54/T3 turbo
Ported, Sandblast flowed, Modified (new flange welded on), Ceramic coated exhaust manifold
New Custom chip for h2o injection control & revised boost and timing maps
New 3" turbo back exhaust with Magnaflow mufflers (with Variable Geometery Exhaust tip just like an
F-16, to be electronically controlled based on load.)
I'm mulling it over still, but a Variable Voltage/high Current ignition power source, where Voltage is a function of Manifold pressure... hence cruise/idle ect.. soft stock like spark, and boost gets high powered spark.
Either that or i plan to get an Accel 275+ ignition amplifier.
In the end I am specifically shooting for 350HP, but i beleive 400 is easily in my grasp now that i have the fuel system AND the turbo that can do it.
That should do it for now.... :P i also installed an updated lighter dash, instruments and reupholstered the front seats, that will hold me over until i can get some new seats that dont weigh a ton.
this barely scratches the surface of what i have done and i am doing to the car...
