Here are some pictures of it as a "work in progress". We got it from a guy with a drinking problem and too many DUIs. It was in pretty rough shape. The exhuast was pinched shut from bottoming out and was held up to the chassis by a bent coat hanger. The front and rear bumpers were both trashed. The interior was moldy and smelly. The car was sprayed primer grey to hide all the problems uncovered later when we started sanding. The springs were also cut for a half-assed lowering job.

There's my dad sanding right before we got it sprayed. Don't worry, I didn't make him do it alone.

Here's some more pictures my friend James took (he's the guy to the left in the first picture on this page, he's jmajik on my friends list):

More of the interior rebuild nightmare.

We were going to put black side-pipes on, but they didn't fit right.

Recently pulled the engine to replace the clutch with a better one and to fix a problem with the throw-out bearing.

We also pulled the rear end, replaced some bushings and painted it black.

damn dude, the more i look at the work-in progress, the more my mind goes twirling around. u gota have some brains to put al that back together.. thats a messss. but good job on it though its looking really good. are you gona keep it or make profit out of it?? dont have nething major planned for the cavy. not too much money can go for that. as far as this year if am lucky ill get lowering springs (1 1/2"), an intake (aem,kn&n,rks) and might also get a cat-back exhaust. well see, hopefully something comes along. take care of the vette and let me know when u do more work on it!
