Now I know that I don't have a V8 Camaro, but anybody that has a Camaro period will like this Psalm.
Hey, Whats Up? This is my 1999 3.8L V6 Camaro. I know your probably wondering why I didn't get the V8 but I'm only 17. Insurance is bad enough on this bad boy. Although I'm not complaining about having a V6 Camaro BECAUSE I LOVE IT. THEY ARE NOT SLOW BY ANY MEANS. Plus, don't worry, its not a stock V6, this is one strong V6 now and i'm not done with it. Scroll down and you can see my modifications and some info on them. THESE FIRST EXTERIOR SHOTS AREN'T TOO EXCITING SO SCROLL ON DOWN FOR THE MODS. EXTERIOR
There isn't really much to see here guys...lol...I have done absolutely nothing to make this thing look cool. I have spent all my money on performance and sound system so scroll on down for the good stuff.
PERFORMANCE
HORSEPOWER= 250 HP
TORQUE= 290 FT/LBS
This is my favorite thing about cars....PERFORMANCE....I wish I had a V8 but this car is still extremely fun...faster than most of my friend's cars too.
My performance upgrades include:
1. Magnaflow Cat-back exhaust = (Adds Over 10HP)
2. SLP Performance Cold Air Intake = (Adds up to 15HP)
3. Stealth Composites High Flow Air Box (Intake) = (Adds 12HP w/ K&N Performance Air Filter)
4. K&N Performance Air Filter = (HP gain is included in with #3's total HP gain)
5. Hypertech 180 Degree Powerstat = (HP gain varies...It improves the intake HP gain even more and causes the engine to gain HP due to a lower running temperature)
6. JetChip Stage 2 Power Control Module = (Adds around 15HP)
SOUND SYSTEM
Now to be honest...I really didn't want to buy a new sound system but I didn't really have a choice...my stock cd player kept messin up and I blew one of my speakers...haha. So this is what I ended up getting:
1. Kenwood Deck with a motorized flip down face
2. Four Rockford Fosgate Mid-Range Speakers
3. Rockford Fosgate Tweeters
4. 600W Rockford Fosgate Amplifier
5. Rockford Fosgate Digital Cap
I got the Cap because I blew my alternator..haha. Now I know your probably like.....NO SUBS?.....yea I know...but like i said...i'm more about performance and these speakers are LOUD...I dont really want to spend all that money to have some bass...Subs are def. cool though...i just dont have the money...ALSO...I would have no place to put the T-tops.
