Hey, welcome to my page for my new "project". As you
can see its a 78' Pontiac Grand LeMans with the 304 4.9L V8 under the hood (not
the smallest but not the biggest at all...) Well I just bought it a couple
months ago and realized I am going to have to do something to it so ill like it
more then I do right now. I have some ideas, such as some dualie exhaust so i
can piss off the neighbors. The windows are already tinted out but I think they
deserve to be darker. The trunk... Well the trunk isn't a trunk anymore it
completely done in. Some how the last owner managed to tear the top layer of the
trunk lid from the bottom layer and the bottom of the quarter panels have a bit
of damage. So im planning on making some trips to the auto wreakers to get some
new body parts from a LeMans or if I have to I will get them off a Malibu there
body parts are very, very alike. Then ill just clean her up get a nice black
paint job then start on the interior that needs a bit of work and needs some
audio and lots of it! So anyone have any ideas I love to hear them seeing how I am
pretty much lost on some parts of this job. I am a mechanic but 78 LeMans aren't
something you can get parts for to easily.

Well i found out whats its gonna cost me to get this car done.... so I deceided to go on a diffrent route im taking the engine trani and everything i can use out of this lemans and im purchasing a 79 firebird that has no engine trani or nothing. and im going to restore the bird becuase its already in very good condition and its a way easier project seeing hwo the lemans had sooo much body work that needed to be done to it. Once i get the bird started ill post up some pics.

nice car, good start and a rare one too. a 455 pontiac motor would be the greatest under that hood!!! keep the faith and the pontiacs alive...

hey. that looks to me like a 78 10th anniverary car. In which case there are very few around. My dad had one till the early 90's and i have only seen 4 others. Itll be worth some coin if restored original. Especially if it a canadian car. Id get the vin checked by GM. any way i could help email me paluzska@hotmail.com
