Spring time weather means it's time to clean the car. Armor-all FTW!
The careful observer will notice the addition of the cheap-o air horns salvaged from an old ('62) jeep. The compressor was stripped of rust and gunk, the top half was polished and the rest was painted. The horns were also sanded and painted and I plumbed them with 5/16'' steel line. If nothing else, I at least have a functioning horn for the first time :D
On a recent excursion to the local junk yard, I unearthed a pair of Monte logos from the hub caps on some non-SS style wheels. They were in pretty good shape so I decided to take them, and later I attached one to the cap of the radiator puke tank. I think it looks pretty cool, but now it seems to me like the tanks should be painted, what do you think?
Engine mods:
-Jegs offset 14x3'' air cleaner
-Moroso valve cover gaskets
-Edelbrock Performer Series 600 carb
-Weiand Stealth intake
-Jegs 8mm plug wires
-Chrome valve covers
-SS breather
-Dynomax long tube headers
-Custom 2.5'' true dual exhuast
-Flowmaster 40 series mufflers
Removed Junk:
-Emissions pump/emissions crap
-ECU
-Computer controlled distributor
-Catalytic converter
-Single exhaust y-pipe
The engine. As of now, I currently replaced the stock Intake manifold with a plane jane unit from Weiand, the carb was a Holley 4bbl gas hog. This was then replaced with an Edelbrock performer series 600. I got some 8mm "flamin red" plug wires from Jegs as well as new plugs all around. Bolted on a set of dynomax headers and got rid of the cat while running true dual's back to the flowmaster 40 series mufflers. Still working on that K&N filter.
Made a better video for the exhaust, also showcasing the tips that I threw on and never took pictures of. This one looks much nicer :D

Audio components:
-Alpine CDE-9845 head unit
-Audiobahn AS31Q 3.5'' components (x2)front
-Kenwood 4x10'' KFC-415C's (x2)rear
-Rockford Fosgate 8 gauge wiring
-Rockford Fosgate 401s amp
-MTX sealed dual 10'' sub box
-Alpine Type-E 10'' subs (x2)
-Dynamat
Now for the only part on my car that I trust 100% not to fail me (since it's all done by me), the sound system! New headunit pictured (with custom layer of dust)
As mentioned above, the head unit is a brand new Alpine CDE-9845. One of my favorite features about this HU besides the mp3/wma/cd-rw playback is the multiple colors you can choose.
The subs are Alpine Type E 10's in a simple, sealed MTX box. I chose this box, because it fits perfectly on the upper shelf of the trunk, behind the seats and under the rear decklid. This leaves me enough trunkspace leftover to easily fit my snowboard in the back too! The amp is a Rockford Fosgate 401s amp running 200 watt rms to each of the Type-E's. I'm also running an 8 gauge Rockford wiring kit. I used to have a custom sub grille that I made (pictured), but unfortunately the cold weather and merciless pounding of the woofers all but destroyed the thin plexi glass I made it out of.
Up front I have a new (well, they were new 6 months ago when I installed them)set of little audiobahn 3.5's. These suckers are the same diameter as the last set of polks I had but they handle much more power. In fact, the magnets are so much bigger that they just barely fit in the dash. The tweeters are also detachable, which I took advantage of and stuck them on the A-pillar. The new location for the tweeters from dash to A-pillar made a miraculous improvement in sound stage.
I replaced the Kenwood 4x10's, which were originally in the car, with a set of Pioneer 6x9's that I had sitting around for a while. The Kenwoods went into the Fiero, they fit conveniently in the front stock location. As you can see, more modification was required to get them to fit.
