I went to the Alkimos shipwreck North of Quinn's Rocks on Sunday and had a bit of "FUN IN THE SUN"!
There were a couple of guys up there in their 80 series Landcruisers all done up to the max, but they could'nt keep up with the O'l MINI_DOZER. She's just too light and skips across the sand, especially going up the dunes.
I'm heading up again this Sunday with a few work mates, I'll be sure to post some pic's after that excursion!!!!!

As I mentioned above, I was going to go to the Alkimos wreck again with a few work mates. Well, we tried to and we got turned back by the Rangers. When we went to go onto the beach there were a heap of 4X4's coming off saying that they had been fined $100 each for driving on the beach. So we decided to head up further North near Lancelin. We found a nice track that led to the beach and headed onward. The track went for about 5 kilometres until it reached the beach and was good learning experience for a couple of the other drivers who hadn't been 4X4ing before.
Once we reached the beach I went for a scout around and found that it was the softest I had ever been on. The novices that were with us were in trouble almost instantly as they had heavier vehicles and no experience. But we all had a great day, unbogging Pajero's and Jackaroo's and we set up a BBQ in the dunes and cracked open a few cold ones!
