Mimi's curb weight is 2299 pounds according to Edmunds.com (http://www.edmunds.com/used/1999/mazda/mx5miata/12060/specs.html?tid=edmunds.u.prices.leftsidenav..6.Mazda*). Plus the weight of the driver, that makes it an even 2300 pounds. P.s. it is not polite to ask a girl's weight. tsk tsk.

Thanks for the comment. I didn't install the jrsc by myself, so I can't help you there. I just learned how to change my spare tire. I'm getting new wheels this week. Woohoo! cya and good luck with your install
