While the tranny was out being rebuilt, I had the opportunity to get my engine dyno tested!

Right off the bat we found something wrong! The secondaries were not opening at all! peak power was 273hp @ 5000rpm and 346 ft/lbs at 2500rpm. So after we got the secondaries working and put some timing in it we bumped it to 330hp @ 5200rmp and 369 ft/lbs at 4500rpm. It picked up nearly 60hp and 20 ft/lbs! The graph shows the base line pull and the final pull.

The difference was amazing! The nitrous took it from 330hp to 434hp. A little less than projected but im not complaining! The torque jumped from 369 ft/lbs to 529 ft/lbs! I nearly fell to the floor!

Once the car was back together, I couldnt wait to get it to the track! I havent taken it to the quarter mile since its been done but I went to a local eighth mile to see what it would do!

This is a previous time slip from the quarter mile at Fontana. It's a little embarassing but whatever!

Here is a slip from the eighth mile at Perris. More than three tenths faster and nearly 3mph faster as well! The car feels so much different, its amazing! I cant wait to get it back to Fontana and see what it does!

I took my car to the track again this week. I got the secondaries working properly, now the car doesnt fall on its face! the best run this week was 8.96 at 77mph. Now it was time for the nitrous! ! ! 8.11 seconds at 93mph! ! ! Not bad for a little 350, eh?!?!?!?
