One of those days, huh? A wiser fella than myself once said, "sometimes you eat the bar, and sometimes the bar, well, he eats you."

boora's 1980 Chevrolet C/K Pick-Up Istanbul, UN - 6Bought this beauty on 05.04.2003 when she was all messed up. The majority of exterior and interior is restored until now. Still have a lot of things to do in my mind but I will try to keep the stock apperience. This one is really hard to find in Turkey, where I live and I'm addicted to it.

boora's 1980 Chevrolet C/K Pick-Up Istanbul, UN - 710.10.2003 Peaceful dusk, enhanced with a sixpack and the radio.
boora's 1980 Chevrolet C/K Pick-Up Istanbul, UN - 306.08.2003 Needs an original Steering Wheel. Luckyly the original radio is still intact. Inst. cluster bezel is a replacement part. I'm still looking for an original GM bezel, if any of you have a spare '78 - '80 clean one for sale, let me know.
boora's 1980 Chevrolet C/K Pick-Up Istanbul, UN - 406.08.2003 The interior is completely restored. Used the be the same color as the body. Now it looks much better I guess. Faded and cracked windshield is now replaced with a brand new one with all other window glasses. Vents are unskillfully painted to metallic grey. Really destroying the interior look. I need them replaced right away.

I'm planning to get 33x12.50 tires with 15x9 american racing (outlaw) wheels, however I'm afraid that acceleration will extremely suffer. I guess a BanksPower Stinger system would be a fine modest add on. Hopefully I will get it this summer.

catch ya later on down the trail
