Pictures of a Scorpion 1.7 Roller Rocker conversion on my 1996 Z28.
Stock Setup

Comp 918 Beehive springs, GM guideplates, and 7/16" ARP studs

Scorpion Rockers in place

Rocker wear pattern on the valve stem with hardened 7.20" pushrods. I have since replaced them with 7.150 chromoly pushrods, and the pattern is now center.

Driver's side rockers installed with LT4 valve cover studs in

LT4 valve covers clear the Scorpion rockers with no problem

After valve adjustments were complete, it was still very noisy. Upon further inspection, I notice the pushrods are making contact with the guideplate. GM guideplates need to be opened up for the 1.7 ratio.

March 11, 2006 -- Went to the Dyno today, and results are below. I have a DMH electric cutout installed right before the rear. Hence the 'cutout open' and 'cutout closed' designation.
