Tinted windows and a couple of stickers.New 18" wheels look heaps better than standard 17" crap , just need to dump it now. Maybe some green GT stripes ?Clear tail lights , great addition to any car , and rare.Standard interior , leather seats , Momo gear knob and steering wheel. Very nice to travel in comfort.Standard deck has to be retained as the car will not go without it , so I comprimised and added the DVD player below where the tissue box was. The DVD feeds to the screen. In sedans they come with airbags here but as it is a ute it does not, so I made a mould that fits in the gap and is totally returnable to standard. The screen motorises out and is controlled by remote from the driver.Using fibreglass wood and putty it looks factory , its actually clamped from behind so it cant move.Screen folds away and is covered by dash mat.Once the screen is out , its perfect viewing for the passenger and because its mounted on a 10-15 degree axis the driver can see it also , but as its way to the left its not a driver distraction. Its all puttied and sanded , just ready for painting. This will be done in green to match the roof vinyl.New roof trimmed in black velour with big ford symbol. All the pillar covers have been done in silver to match the amps. The sunvisors and fittings have now been painted with black vinyl spray.Dynamatting a car is crucial for loud systems , here we did the roof while the lining was out , we covered it pretty convincingly and when you hear the car from outside it sure makes a difference.Everthing was dynamatted , also in this pic you can see the control module from the screen which is hidden behind the amps. Also the start of the battery holder. On the right of the module we also mounted a 240v converter to run the Xbox which is removed for every day driving.Because I removed the whole carpet panel from standard I had to make new side panels which were also used to house 6" Pioneer top of the range 2 way speakers. The gap between the side and the battery is where the sub box sits. The rear speaker on passenger side as partially hidden but still works fine , as they are flush mounted the grilles dont hit but its damn tight fit. Also at the top is the housing for the lighting system for the rear display. The battery is a Odyssey 1500CCA and does a great job at shows , the car has run for 6 hours straight at 3/4 volume and car still starts. On top of the battery is 3 fuse holders , one for each 1200.1 and the other is the feed line from the front battery , the perspex is removable so the system can be isolated. The battery box before it took 2 of us to get it in.Below the driver seat is Pioneers 6 disc stacker , just gotta have that for long trips out here.Pioneer TS-W5000SPL 12" 5000W subwoofer , the center piece , getting 3000 watts RMS it has done 149.6Db on Audiocontrol meter. The box is small but space is limited , with some tunign it should get over 150 easily , surprisingly it sounds good for a purpose built SPL sub.The port is as big as possible , this box is for SPl only and port will be tuned accordinlgy , another box is in construction for everyday use and show purposes. The 3 amps during build , the top one is 4 channel and runs front splits and rear 6".The seat sits back at comfortable angle and takes up little room.Amp covers now painted and you can also see the green light emitting from the center , there is also lights under each amp which stand out at night time.Back is nearly done just waiting for the perspex cover for the top , the rest of the neons makes sure you dont miss whats in the back.Perspex is now in and once we get a decent camera will get some night shots , this is starting to look awsome with all the lights. We were going to put this in but decided to go with the twin pod instead , just trying to work out how to hide the screws ??This is similar to what is going in, dont know bout the gauges but.New box with window to see the mega expensive sub , 10mm glass window has green tinge and green neons in box will look sweet. Here its painted with stoneguard which seals all joins and leaves a neat hammertone finish. The big fark off sub that goes in the pretty box.Running wiring through the doors was always going to be scary , I finally got up the courage to do it ,turned out pretty well.Totally standard door , at $540 each I was not keen to cut it up but meh had to be done. After removing the grille and pocket the door is pretty flat which makes it easier.New doors will hold Kickers $1,000 splits and a 7" screen , the big hole in the middle is for the crossover which is very cool and needs to shown This is the start of the pods going on.Got the box back all painted , now to just glue the glass in.Doors are nearly ready to glass up, gonna look sweet.Subs in , glass in and neone are going , looks mint at night.Front view you get an idea of how big the sub basket is.The wiring all hidden behind the sub. These switches were fitted to run the neons , inverter and can also turn on the deck with out the keys , for shows.
