A mate and I went up to Olympic Park to take some pics of our cars. His is a WH Statsman with a 5.7 LS1 engine running on 18's and a lowered suspension Package. Its had exhaust work and an Over the Radiator CAI added, it owns some sick paint too.

Here is where I am with the engine bay. Its a hard job keeping all that polished alloy gleeming. I have added some things and polished some more parts since the build finished.

a. Installed a blue alloy radiator catch can.
b. Installed an alloy Oil catch can with breather.
c. Polished the alternator.
d. Polished the fuel rails.

Its all coming along really well, Its hard not spending cash on it. Im still trying to save my ass off for the re-spray, Monaro bonnet, VZ guard flutes and SS front bumper.
I need a new axle aswell, hit a kerb ages ago while drifting and put a slight buckle in it. I might tackle that this weekend.

UPDATE:07 OCT 08.

Well things are a little stagnant with the car, its just happy being a when ever car. The power steering is doing the typical Commodore thing and leaking, really breaking my balls, i just dont have the coin to fix it right now.

Took a mate for a drive, he loved it, got a bit of the car bug now he has, plans are being made, so he says.

MODS STILL TO COME.

1. Fit VR SS front bumber with fog lights.
2. Get the gearbox fixed (again).
3. New Diff with 3.7 and LSD, single spinning is boring.
4. Shed some weight, up the boost and stall the car up at the drags, I want a mid 13 then work into the 12's.
5. Re-spray with Monaro bonnet and VZ SS guard flutes.
