Well i finally got around to doing my interior now that the car is at home.
THIS IS THE INTERIOR ALL STOCKO, BLOODY BORING AND LAME.
The first thing I wanted to do was add a bit of colour to the dash and centre console. The colour I went with was CYAN, not sure who makes the colour but I liked it so i went with it.
After pulling all the bits apart that i wanted to spray, I wet sanded all the parts with 1500 grit wet and dry. Once I had it all smooth, I applied 3 coats of plastic primer then went over it again with 1500 W&D. When it was smooth, i applied 4 coats of the base colour waited a day for it to set and then sprayed 4 coats of clear, this is the end product.
The next thing I wanted to change was the door panels. They were starting to look their age so I went out and found a nice blue Upholstry fabric to re-cover them in.
All in all I think it turned out pretty bloody good for a weekends work.
AUTOTECHNICS RACING SEATS
Supercheap auto had these seats at a pretty good price, they are not the best getting around but I dont give a shit, they are heaps better then the standard ones i had in there before. No more getting thrown around when i decide to hit a corner at speed.
