Performance

Smooth, graceful lines and class-leading power make the 1989 2.7-liter Acura Legend R both an object of beauty and a force to be reckoned with. An aluminum-alloy, V-6, 161-horsepower engine and 4-wheel independent adjustable suspension system give this high-performance coupe its true-exhilaration credentials. And for those performance-driving enthusiasts with the most exacting standards, the Legend R Kit is available to satisfy your every demand.

The Acura Legend R addresses the demands of performance enthusiasts by providing enhanced handling, aggressive looks, quality and durability. The Acura Legend R loaded with enhancemets.

ENGINE

badjack101's 1989 Acura Legend

The 1989 Legend R ushers in an entirely new era of performance coupe with an advanced 2.7-liter, 24-valve, V-6 engine that produces a class-leading 161 horsepower at 5900 rpm. But there's more to this exhilarating ride than meets the eye. Like our race prooven technology, which enables an impressive 162-lbs-ft of torque at 4500 rpm. In short, it's a performance package intent on creating moments of pure oblivion. To acheave these numbers the basic 2.7L engine was enhanced from its original spesifications. The ignition system is upgraded with NGK sparkplug wires. These wires provide much more spark then a basic set of wires by reducing the amount of resistence in the wire. badjack101's 1989 Acura Legend
In order to produce the most power out of an engine the exhaust system must be able to allow large amounts of exhaust to flow quickly and easly. The Legend R dose this by utilizing a hi flow flowmaster muffler along with inlarged 2.5" piping from the catlytic converter to the muffler. badjack101's 1989 Acura Legend

Suspention

A rigid, four-wheel independent suspension system is what separates a serious performance sedan from the pack. But the 1989 Acura Legend R takes it a step further with adjustable front suspension and adjustable rear suspension badjack101's 1989 Acura Legend so the driver can set the ride hight to the perfect hight for the type of driving that the car is going to be doing. The front suspension combines large bushings with extremely rigid upper arms for reduced road noise and to help absorb impact energy. And stabilizer bars in the front and rear provide additional stability for firm, controlled handling.

nice car as well as page design. however I recommend that you should build a CAI "cold air intake" instead of that cone stuck to the throttle body. Also instead of using platnium ngk's use a copper version of plugsNwires. These mods are much better performance-wise, trust me.
