My story of the car and how I got it!

I was sitting on the couch with my dad and he was lookin at a wantad press and said to me, here is a car for you. 1978 Olds Cutlass Supreme V8, 4speed, beautiful shape and a 1200 sound system.
So I spent the rest of the night wondering if it really was a 4speed manual or automatic. So the next day came around and it was about 9:30 in the morning and called the person up, talked but not for long just got directions and when to meet.

I live in Washington NJ and the car was in Gillette NJ about 40 miles away. So I went for a cruise and went to a Karate place where the owner a 40 something year old Karate teacher (Lady) was waiting out by the car. I thought it was going to be a peice of junk automatic. But boy was I wrong it was low in the fron and high in the back with aluminum american racing rims with cooper cobra tires. Looked inside and it was a Hurst 4speed manual. Popped the hood and there was a freshly rebuilt 305 V8. The car was mint. I was in heaven.

took it for a ride and HOLY SHIT was it quick. The Lady said as we were on an open country road with no one around. She said stop and then run it through the gears. Couldn't pass that offer up. Revved her up to about 2900rpm dumped the clutch and was smoking them all the way through first, grabbed second smoking let off a little gain traction then mashed it again, grabbed third Spun em a little bit then Grabbed fourth barking the tires like a dog getting kicked in the nuts.

Need to mention couple minutes later handed her 1400 bucks and the next day drove her home. Oh yeah lady was so nice she through a new set of cooper cobra's on the back nice lady!
