These are pics from our latest drive on Saturday, September 3. We didn't drive nearly as long as the last one, but we did get some very quality miles in. We started out in Santa Monica for breakfast and headed out north from there. Our first run took us through Topanga Canyon Road up a mountain and back down.
Kind of hard to drive and take pictures at the same time.
I always choose to be in back for several reasons, being an EMT/fireman (in case something happens), being the smallest (1.6 liter), and having the crappiest tires. Everyone always has to wait for me to catch up like in the following picture.
I think I lit my brakes up pretty good, if you look closely at the picture you can see the bluing on the rotor.
One of the rest stops we took, nicely lined up for the camera.
I'm not sure of all the roads we took that day, but there were some DOOZIES. Whenever I go on a drive, I discover something new about my car and have to do something to fix it. The first time it was the clutch, next was suspension, now it's the brakes and tires. I'll eventually get everything sorted out.
