This is the car that I worked on all through high school from 1995 'til 2001 when I sold her. :-(
All labour and install performed by yours truly with the exception of the body spray (Bondo however was done by me, all K-Cars get Bondo!!!!)
Headlights replaced with high output model from Canadian tire (brighter/bluer and better wattage)Those of us who know their k-cars like the back of their hands know that the headlights rock to begin with but for 5 dollars extra per glass assembly, just do it and thank me for it the first time you adjust them and get them on the road.
Had 2" exhaust with Rhino stainless steel "Cherry bomb shape" muffler, custom bent and new hi-flo catalytic converter installed at shop in Metcalfe, Ontario. Power was better with the three speed automatic following this, and also you could drive at 110 Km/h from Ottawa to Toronto, hit rushhour for 45 mins, continue to St. Catherines and get within a heartbeat of the city on a single tank of gas. For those of you that know, that's in the range of 5 1/2 hours or so! Try this exhaust on your three speed 2.2L and you won't be sorry. Remember I only upsized a 1/8 of an inch from 1-7/8" to 2".
